Vintage Abstract Expressionist Painting of Flowers on Stretched Canvas by Emily Frank, Circa 1985.

I recently was able to view and purchase several pieces by Emily Frank and it was such an honor. A 20th Century female artist whose work pulls inspiration from Abstract Expressionism and who studied at the NYU Student Art Leage. She has work that’s displayed in numerous private collections; the Taj Mahal Museum of Dallas, TX; and the Evansville Museum of Art in Israel. Additionally, she exhibited at many galleries during her lifetime.

She really had fun painting and you can see her joy wih painting by her use of impasto paint technique as well as her playfulness with her brush. Even the way she signed her name and incorporated it beautifully into the art... big fan.

Painting stands great on its own but would also do beautifully in a dusty gold or dark brown ornate frame or a fun splash of color. If interested in framing, DM for options.
