What I love about this painting: the incredible Lynchian style of it, it’s a representational interior painting but the very mood of it has such a surreal component to it. It’s a whole ~mood~. The paintings within this painting! I’ve mentioned before, I collect paintings with paintings of nudes within the painting and this checks that box. The lighting within this piece makes the painting feel almost like a light source within and of itself. To put it bluntly, I think this painting is badass. Buy it before I change my mind 😂
Signed and dated in verso, Joseph Ferrelli Jr, January 1975. Titled, “Come into My Parlour.” Some wild art committee rejected this painting in 1975 and I’d like to fire them by saying 51 years later, this is H&H APPROVED! Furthermore, it comes framed already in a vintage frame that seals this painting up like a glove.
